4 Ways To Dry Your Laundry Quicker In Winter

Drying the laundry in the summer is simple and easy. You can just hang the laundry anywhere and it will dry on its own. In winter, however, it's a completely different story. The laundry does not dry equally everywhere.

Sometimes it takes up to three days before your laundry is finally dry. To combat this, we have found four useful tips to quickly and easily dry your attires in the winter (which of course also work in the summer).

#1 Laundry rack

A laundry drying rack is a great tool to dry clothes. As long as the humidity is not too high, the laundry on the drying rack will dry fast. The best way to use it is - to hang the fastest-drying items in the centre and the most difficult-drying items on the ends.

Consider placing various items, such as jeans, over the heater as they are unlikely to dry properly on the drying rack. If you hang your laundry on the drying rack, make sure there is good ventilation. Otherwise you can suffer from dampness and mold in the house.

Also, when you are buying a laundry rack, never compromise on quality. Always purchase the highest quality laundry rack even if you have to pay a little extra for it. Quality racks will serve you for a long time.

#2 Clothesline

The clothesline outside is quite handy. In winter, the laundry will still dry there as long as the air is not too humid. Moreover, the washing line has a big advantage: the air passes well between the laundry, making the laundry dry quickly. Moreover, when there’s sun outside, in winter, using clotheslines is a really great choice.

Another great substitute for clotheslines is an outdoor clothes drying rack. If you don’t dry your clothes in your home and clothesline isn’t what you want to use - go with outdoor clothes drying rack.

#3 Small Racks

Hang small hangers and mini laundry racks everywhere. On doors, heaters, banisters: you can hang small laundry racks everywhere. By spreading the pandals in the house, you also spread the moisture so that the laundry dries faster.

Keep in mind, though, that you'll find laundry everywhere in the house – not a pleasant idea for everyone. But it's still worth it if your clothes get dry fast.

#4 Rotary Clothesline

A rotary clothesline is more efficient than a clothesline as it can spin a bit in the wind. Because the wind brings in a lot of fresh air in winter, the laundry dries a lot faster than you would expect.

The laundry can dry just as quickly in the winter as in the summer if you have a good rotary clothesline. Because a rotary clothesline is made of metal, it is wise to put a good protective cover around it if the laundry is not hanging on it. This way, it lasts longer and you can let your laundry dry quickly in the winter using it for a longer time!

Final Words

So these are the top four ways to dry your laundry in winter. We hope this post helps you dry your clothes more quickly and without any hassle.
